Most residential driveways are prepped, graded and paved within a single working day. Larger private roads and parking lots are scheduled across two or three days depending on square footage and how much groundwork the base needs first.
Stay off the surface for at least 24 hours, and keep heavy vehicles off for the first few days. In hot weather, new asphalt stays soft longer, so we will tell you on site exactly when it is ready.
Every two to three years for most Maine driveways. Sealer creates a barrier against water, gas and oil leaks, all of which soften asphalt, and it brings faded surfaces back to a deep black.
Yes. It goes down cold, lasts up to ten years and costs about a third of the price of regular asphalt. It is excellent for long roads or driveways, especially in the spring, to help people get out of the mud.
We do. Ground work and landscaping mitigate the water damage that causes heaving and cracks. We handle everything from loaming edges to entirely rebuilding your lawn around the new surface.
We measure the area, look at drainage and the condition of the existing base, then give you a written price for the work. The owner is on site for every job, so the person quoting is the person supervising.

Every job is backed by our name and our owner’s on-site supervision. If something is not right, we come back and make it right. We will walk the finished surface with you before we leave the site.
